disown the domain and continue complaining. After an extended period of complaining, it might e.g. I think it will complain about being not properly licensed and nag you (your user) to update it. In response to your question, didn't you ask whether it will rollback the machine? I don't think it will. We are just trying to save you extra work and keeping track of various credentials for the future. I think the way you are doing it is perfectly legal, that's no problem.
